Myriam's Belgian Cake

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 1/2 teaspoons of our homemade mixture)
  • 170 grams butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 grams flour
  • 4 grams (1/2 teaspoon) baking powder
Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (approximately 185 ° C)
  2. Combine sugar and vanilla sugar in bowl
  3. Add melted butter, 4 eggs, flour, and baking powder
  4. Pour batter into greased bread pan
  5. Bake at 350° F for approximately 1 hour or until pick comes out clean
  6. Serve warm
Myriam suggests adding one of the following for a variation: chocolate, apples, kiwis or strawberries.
